Johnny Lunsford, 54, of Springlake, died Tuesday, December 10, 2013, in Springlake. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M., Friday, December 13, at the First Baptist Church in Springlake with Brother Glenn Harlin officiating. Interment will follow at Olton Cemetery under the direction of Ramage Funeral Directors. The family will receive friends at Ramage Funeral Directors in Olton from 5:00 to 7:00 P.M., Thursday, December 12.

Johnny Wade Lunsford was born February 26, 1959, in Olton to Bill and Bonnie Kersh Lunsford. He moved to Springlake in 1969 and was a member of the First Baptist Church. Johnny enjoyed studying the Indian culture and hunting arrowheads. He loved raising chickens, fishing, motorcycles and cars.

He was preceded in death by his father, Bill Lunsford, in 1996 and a sister, Jeanette Lunsford, in 1959.

Survivors include his mother, Bonnie Lunsford of Springlake, a brother, Rocky Lunsford and his wife, Wendy of Keller, and a sister, Teresa Williams of Plainview. He was blessed with two nephews, Justin Lunsford and Eric Lunsford and three nieces, Alexa Taulbee, Taylor Lunsford, and Madison Lunsford.
