Jose Luis Ruiz, 55, of Hart, died Monday, July 11, 2022.  Rosary will be said at 6:00 p.m., Friday, July 15, 2022, at St. John's Catholic Church, in Hart.  Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, July 16, 2022, at St. John's Catholic Church, with Fr. Raj Malapady officiating and under the care of Ramage Funeral Directors.  Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Friday, July 15, at Ramage Funeral Directors, in Olton.

Jose was born January 14, 1967, in San Bernardo, Durango, Mexico, to Seferino Reyes and Ambrosia Ruiz.  He married Guadalupe Barraza on May 20, 2002, and they lived in Sunnyside before moving to Hart in 2018.  A member of St. John's Catholic Church, Jose was a talented mechanic and enjoyed everything outdoors, especially grilling.  He enjoyed painting but, most of all, he loved spending time with his girls.

He was preceded in death by his father, Seferino Reyes.

Survivors include his wife, Guadalupe Barraza of Hart, his mother, Ambrosia Ruiz Ramos of Parral, Chihuahua, Mexico, five daughters, Anna Ruiz, Yatziry Ruiz, and Zuleyka Ruiz, all of Hart, and Rubi Ruiz DeLaCruz and Yesenia Ruiz, both of Alabama, one brother, six sisters, and six grandchildren.
