Obituary
Jose "Rigo" Santillan passed away June 23, 2008 in Lubbock. Mass will be held at 2:00 PM, Thursday, June 26, 2008 at St. Peter's Catholic Church in Olton with Father John Smith presiding. Burial will follow at Olton Cemetery.
Jose was born December 4, 1977 in San Luis Potosi, Mexico. He had been an Olton resident for 10 years and member of St. Peter's Catholic Church. He married Daena Favela in 2001 and was a farmer.
Survivors include his wife, Daena, of Olton, his parents, Modesto and Petronila Santillan of San Luis Potosi, Mexico, his children, Alejandro and Yarely Santillan of Olton, two sisters, Ana Reyna and Erika Martinez of Mexico and a brother, Alejandro Santillan of Mexico.
