Jose G. "Junebug" "Buggy" Solis, Jr., 44, of Wolfforth, died Friday, August 28, 2020, in Lubbock.  Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, September 1, 2020, at Iglesia del Pueblo church in Earth with Pastor Angie Castillo officiating.  Interment will be held at 3:00 p.m., Tuesday, September 1, 2020, at Peaceful Gardens Memorial Park in Lubbock under the direction of Ramage Funeral Directors in Olton.  Viewing will be held from 3:00 to 7:00 p.m., Sunday, August 30, 2020, at Ramage Funeral Directors in Olton and from 3:00 to 8:00 p.m., Monday, August 31, 2020, at Iglesia del Pueblo church in Earth.

Jose Guadalupe Solis, Jr. was born December 15, 1975, in Denver City, to Jose and Esmeralda (Romo) Solis. He married Janet Ramos and they were married over 20 years.  A talented carpenter and handiman, Jose was a hard worker, not only in his job, but in life.  He was a true warrior and never gave up.  He loved listening to music, especially Tupac, and watching the Dallas Cowboys.  An amazing baseball player while growing up, Jose went on to coach many teams throughout the years.  Breeding pit bulls and bullies was also something Jose loved to do.  He was the jokester of the family, a big kid at heart, and kept the family laughing at all times.  Known for always helping people, Jose was loved by many.  He was a loving father, friend, and husband, and even though he didn't stay here on Earth to meet his first grandbaby, he already loved that baby so much!

Jose is survived by his wife, Janet Ramos of Wolfforth, his father, Jose Solis, Sr. of Douglas, Arizona, his mother, Esmeralda Marquez of Lubbock, three sons, Isaiah Solis and Osmara Reyes of Lubbock, Jalen Solis and Josiah Solis, both of Wolfforth, two brothers, Adam Solis of Irving and Christopher Solis of Lubbock, and two sisters, Christina Solis of Irving and Sonia DeLeon and husband Israel of Earth.

He was blessed with the thought of knowing he was going to be a grandfather in December and blessed with a host of nieces and nephews.
