Josefa was honored to be married three times and she outlived each of her husbands. Her husband's were Jose Cordero, Ralph Flores, and Rodolfo "Rudy" Gloria. She was a talented baker and worked for Furr's Cafeteria in Plainview for 25 years. She also was a Wal-Mart door greeter in Levelland for six years. A creative artist who loved to paint and draw, Josefa lived life to the fullest. She loved to sew, quilt, bake, and could sing beautifully. Josefa was very hard-working, feisty, and sassy. She was considered a comedian and her laughter was contagious to all. Most of all, Josie loved being with her brothers, sisters, and family and she will be dearly missed.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her three husbands, a son, Jose Antonio Cordero, a granddaughter, Hannah Spoon, two brothers, and a sister.
Those left to cherish her memory include her son, Cristobal Flores of Wolfforth, seven daughters, Terri Jaso and husband David of Olton, Yolanda Villanueva and husband Jimmy of Lowell, Arkansas, Linda Roberts and husband James of Lubbock, Ester Seawright and husband Tommy of Olton, Dorothy Cordero of Olton, Angela Rodriguez and husband Randy of Olton, and Kimberly Spoon of Littlefield, one brother, Pete Rivera of San Antonio, and five sisters, Nolberta Almanza of Littlefield, Inocencia Rey of San Antonio, Dominga Sanchez of Garland, Maria Hernandez of Plainview, and Eliza Sauceda of Olton.
