Josefina Frias Acosta, 79, of Olton, passed away Tuesday, March 17, 2020, in Lubbock.  Rosary will be said at 6:00 PM, Wednesday, March 18, 2020, at St. Peter's Catholic Church in Olton.  Graveside services will be held at 2:00 PM, Thursday, March 19, 2020, at Olton Cemetery with Fr. Jacob Powell officiating and under the direction of Ramage Funeral Directors.

Josefina was born March 1, 1941, in Chihuahua, Chihuahua, Mexico, to Manuel and Soledad (Pacheco) Frias.  She married Vicente Acosta Alvidrez in 1964.  Moving to Olton in 1964, Josefina was a member of St. Peter's Catholic Church.  She loved flowers and tending to her beautiful flower garden.  Josefina was an excellent cook and was always joking around.  She loved her family and will be missed very much.

She was preceded in death by her parents, twin daughters, Carmen and Delfina, two brothers, and one sister.

Survivors include her husband, Vicente Acosta Alvidrez of Olton, two sons, Joey Acosta and his wife Kim of Dallas and Raul Acosta of Dallas, two daughters, Anna Zuniga and her husband Juan of Olton and Soledad Pedroza and her husband Luis of Olton, a brother, Raul Frias Pacheco of Chihuahua, Mexico and a sister, Maria De Jesus Frias Pacheco of Chihuahua, Mexico.  She was blessed with eight grandchildren.
