Juan Garcia, Jr., 48, of Olton, died Friday, February 9, 2018, in Post, Texas.  Rosary will be said at 6:00 P.M., Thursday, February 15, 2018, at St. Peter's Catholic Church in Olton.  Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 A.M., Friday, February 16, 2018, at St. Peter's Catholic Church with Fr. Sylvester DSouza officiating.  Interment will follow at Olton Cemetery under the direction of Ramage Funeral Directors.

Juan was born June 23, 1969, in Mineral Wells, Texas, to Juan Sr. and Yolanda (Solis) Garcia.  A lifetime Olton resident, Juan was a talented leatherworker and a Catholic.  Family was important to Juan and he will be greatly missed.

He was preceded in death by his father, Juan Garcia, Sr., his step-father, Arnulfo Maldonado, and his grandparents.

Survivors include his mother, Yolanda Maldonado of Olton, three sons, Juan Arnulfo Garcia of Lubbock, Elijah Garcia of Abilene, and Shawn Garcia of Crookston, MN, one daughter, Zabrina Garcia of Crookston, MN, one brother, Arnold Maldonado and his wife Rachel of Olton, and three sisters, Anna Wright and her husband Curtis of Tuscola, Felicita Maldonado of Olton, and Aurora Garcia and her husband Senaido of Snyder.  He was blessed with five grandchildren.
