Juanell was born December 21, 1932, at home on the family farm northwest of Olton to Bud and Theo (Farrar) Grimsley. She graduated from Olton High School in 1950 and married the love of her life, Jack Gullett, on September 8, 1950.

Juanell was a longtime member of Main Street Church of Christ, where she taught Sunday school and was actively involved in many church activities. She also served as a Girl Scout leader. She enjoyed cross stitch and, most of all, spending time with her family and playing games together, especially Skip-Bo.

Juanell was a homemaker, but that never meant she didn't work. She helped Jack on the farm, kept a meticulous home, supported her children's activities, and was known for making excellent meals. She treasured family time and took great pride in caring for her family.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Jack Gullett, in 2015; her daughter, Ronda Derrington; two brothers; and one sister.

Juanell is survived by her son, Lynn Gullett of Canyon; her daughter, Jenny Jenkins and husband, John Ben, of Olton; eight grandchildren, Coy Gullett, Jill Libby, Jodie Karsack, Austin Gullett, Wendy Johnson, Amy Fick, Jack Jenkins, and Jonny Jenkins; 11 great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren.

The family suggests memorials be made to Runningwater Draw Care Center, P.O. Box 409, Olton, Texas 79064.
