Kevin Kirk, 52, of Olton, died Sunday, May 1, 2016. Services will be at 2:00 P.M., Friday, May 6, 2016, at the First United Methodist Church in Olton with Brother Tom Carter and Mr. Brent Scoggins officiating. Interment will follow at Olton Cemetery under the direction of Ramage Funeral Directors of Olton. The family will receive friends at Ramage Funeral Directors in Olton from 5:00 to 7:00 P.M., Thursday, May 5, 2016.

Kevin was born September 21, 1963 in Amarillo, Texas. He graduated from Petersburg High School in 1982. A lifetime area resident, Kevin worked for Barrett Produce in Springlake and was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Olton. Watching Texas Rangers baseball and going to Texas Tech football games were a couple of his favorite things to do. Kevin also loved hunting, working outdoors, and especially spending time with his children.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Survivors include his sons, Austin Kirk and his wife, Kristin of Lubbock and Wyatt Kirk of Olton, his daughter, Chesley Kirk of Olton, three brothers, Lacie Kirk and his wife, Donna of Lubbock, Larry Kirk and his wife, Nancy of Levelland, and Gary Motley of Olton, and his sister, Gayle Quigley and her husband, Darryl of Olton.

The family suggests memorials be made to the Wyatt Kirk Scholarship Fund in care of Wellington State Bank.
