Kirk A. Richardson, 56, of Hale Center, died Wednesday, July 3, 2019, in Lubbock.  Graveside services will be held at 11:00 AM, Saturday, July 6, 2019, at Hale Center Cemetery in Hale Center with Mr. Silas Short officiating and under the direction of Ramage Funeral Directors.  The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 PM, Friday, July 5, 2019, in the Family Center at Ramage Funeral Directors in Hale Center.

Kirk was born November 22, 1962, in Hale Center, Texas, to Ted Richardson and Verna Pettit.  He graduated from Hale Center High School and worked for Walmart Distribution for over 20 years.  On October 4, 2004, Kirk married Sherry Harriss in Abernathy.  Kirk loved music and keeping his yard.  Building monster models and watching Andy Griffith were also his favorite things to do. Gone too soon, Kirk will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents and a sister, Mylissa Nicholson in 1999.

Survivors include his wife, Sherry Richardson of Hale Center, his parents, Ted Richardson of Hale Center and Verna Pettit of Lubbock, two daughters, Leah Tadlock of Shallowater and Madyson Harriss of Hale Center, two step-daughters, Heather Harriss of Plainview and Holly Phillips of Hale Center, and a brother, Lance Richardson of Hale Center.  He was blessed with one grandson.
