Kristie Conner, 53, of Springlake, died Thursday, October 19, 2023, in Lubbock, Texas. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, October 24, 2023, at the First Baptist Church in Springlake with Brother Rob Norris and Mr. Trent Tanaro officiating.  Interment will follow at Springlake Cemetery under the direction of Ramage Funeral Directors. Visitation will be held from 3:00 to 7:00 p.m., Monday, October 23, 2023, at Ramage Funeral Directors in Olton.

Kristie was born June 11, 1970, in Jacksonville, Florida, to Carl and Faye (Williams) Houston.  A lifetime area resident, Kristie graduated from Levelland High School in 1987.  On June 11, 1988, she married Chuck Conner and they made their home in Springlake.  Kristie had a servant's heart and was an intermediate EMT for 21 years. She served at departments in Earth, Olton, Dimmitt and Hale Center.  She also served as a volunteer on the Springlake Fire Department. Spending the day in the field with her husband were special times to Kristie. She enjoyed welding horseshoe art and had a special love for horses and frogs.

Kristie was preceded in death by her parents, Carl and Faye Houston, father-in-law, Robert Conner, and a grandson, Areis Conner.

Survivors include her husband, Chuck Conner of Springlake, two sons, Austin Wesley Conner and wife Lauren of Lubbock and Dalton Colby Conner and wife Mariah of Muleshoe, daughter, Faith Ashley Conner of Springlake, her mother-in-law, Peggy Conner of Springlake, a brother, John Houston of Shallowater, and two sisters, Rhonda Conner and husband Gaylon of Springlake and Laura Clayton and husband Keith of Springlake. She was blessed with one granddaughter, Dixie Cox and soon to be two more grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
