Latrell Hysinger, 69, of Hale Center and formerly of Olton, died Friday, October 2, 2009 in Lubbock after a nearly six-year battle with lung cancer. Services will be at 2:00 PM, Monday, October 5, 2009 at the First United Methodist Church in Olton with Brother Larry Holder officiating. Interment will follow in Olton Cemetery under the direction of Ramage Funeral Directors.
Lorene Latrell Hysinger was born April 3, 1940 in Lubbock to Bert and Lorene Stewart. Latrell started school in Cotton Center and graduated from Olton, Texas in 1958. She married Jack Dale Hysinger on January 1, 1961 in Olton. Jack and Latrell lived in Muleshoe, where she was owner-operator of Latrell's Fashions and Merle Norman Cosmetics for several years. Jack and Latrell moved from Muleshoe to Plainview, then back to Olton and finally to Hale Center in 2007. She was a member of the United Methodist Church, a member of the Laureate Gamma Eta chapter of Beta Sigma Phi sorority, a past Worthy Matron of the Order of Eastern Star, and a past Mother Advisor of the Muleshoe Rainbow Girls. She was also a former Girl Scout and Cub Scout Leader and Booster Club member.
Survivors include her husband, Jack Hysinger of Hale Center, her daughter, Kanetha Foster and her husband, Ken of Oklahoma Lane, TX, two sons, Monty Hysinger and his wife, Melody of Clarendon, and Trent Hysinger of Lubbock, a brother, Wally Stewart and his wife, Patsy of Hale Center, six grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM, Sunday, October 4, 2009.
