Lee Jaso, 63, of Olton, died Tuesday, April 4, 2017, in Olton. Services will be held at 1:00 P.M., Saturday, April 8, 2017, at the First Baptist Church in Olton with Rev. Ted Teeter of the First Assembly of God officiating. Interment will follow at Olton Cemetery under the direction of Ramage Funeral Directors. Visitation will be held from noon to 10:00 P.M., Thursday and Friday, at the First Assembly of God church in Olton.
Elias "Lee" Jaso was born January 7, 1954, in San Angelo, TX, to Elias and Olivia (Alvarado) Jaso. He moved to Olton in 1971 from Hart and married Judy Hamilton August 24, 1972. Lee was a very hard worker and generous person. He loved farming and working outdoors. A devout and Godly man, Lee was a member of the First Assembly of God church, where he was a deacon and primary Sunday School teacher. He enjoyed fishing, singing, and playing on his tablet, but spending time with his grandchildren was his favorite thing to do.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister, Gloria Dow, and a granddaughter, Marissa Deanne.
Survivors include his wife, Judy Jaso of Olton, his son, E.J. (Felicia) Jaso of Littlefield, four daughters, Christina (Yvonne) Jaso of Tecumseh, NE, Mary Lois (Mark) Teeter of Olton, Cynthia (Heath) Ebbs of Pampa, and Juanita Olivia (Matthew) Teeter of Olton, two brothers, David Jaso of Olton and Gabriel Jaso of Erie, PA, and a sister, Mary Jaso of Lubbock. He was blessed with 20 grandchildren: Cassie, Melanie, Kaylea, Tyler, Brenden, Julia, Chloe, Adalaide, Daisy, Lisa Marie, Kyla, Madysen, Samuel, Jordan, Joseph, Izaiah, Davery, Adrienne, Cory and Jonathan.
