Lola Jo Mcgill's Obituary
Lola Jo McGill, 86, of Lubbock, formerly of Olton, died Friday, March 15, 2013, in Lubbock. Graveside services will be at 2:00 P.M., Tuesday, March 19, 2013, at Olton Cemetery under the direction of Ramage Funeral Directors.
Jo was born October 17, 1926, in Springlake to Otha and Hetty Crawford Dent. She married Lowell "Mick" McGill on November 11, 1945, in Plainview. She was a homemaker and member of Main Street Church of Christ.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Mick McGill, in 2008, her daughter, Lynn Bartley in 2005, and three sisters.
Survivors include her son, Dent McGill of Portales, NM, a brother, Donnie Dent of Dallas, and a sister, Pat Davis of Austin. She was blessed with six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to Manna Acres 2510 Slide Rd. Lubbock, TX 79407.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5:00 to 7:00 P.M., Monday, March 18, 2013.
