LuAnn McBeth LeMond, 89, passed away Saturday, July 20, 2024, in Lubbock, Texas. LuAnn was born in Haskell County, Texas, on February 8, 1935, to Ferman and Bertha McBeth. She attended schools in Knox City, Anton, and Hale Center, where she graduated in 1953.  She attended Texas Tech Technological College.

LuAnn married Robert "Dick" LeMond on June 26, 1954. They celebrated 67 anniversaries prior to his death in 2021. They raised a son and a daughter together. LuAnn was a loving wife, mother, devoted grandmother, and great-grandmother.  She immersed herself in caring for her family and they all knew it.

She lovingly devoted many hours to the First Methodist Church of Hale Center through teaching children the stories of Jesus and the Bible, gardening, planning celebrations, and serving meals to bereaved families.  As an artist, she showered her family with quilts, paintings, and wonderful food.  She enjoyed friendships in numerous civic organizations and bridge clubs in Hale Center and Plainview.

She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, brother, Ronnie McBeth, and sister-in-law, Connie LeMond.

She is survived by her children and their families: Mike and Julie LeMond of San Antonio and Lynn and Jackie Sims of Hale Center. Her grandchildren include:  Lauren and Greg Brownd of Shallowater and their children, Paisleigh and Abi; Angie and Chad McNeely of Midland and their children, Crew, Gage, and MacKenna; Haley and Kevin Worley of Lubbock and their children, Madeleine and Anna; Tracey and Jared Folwell of San Antonio; Chance and Elise Alldredge of Spring and their children, Casey, Avary, Elle and True; Christin and George Wommack of San Antonio and their children, Tripp, Caroline, Henry, and Charlotte; Brett and Natalie Alldredge of Rosenberg and their children, David, Graham, and Lucas. She is also survived by her brother, Ferman "Sonny" and wife Lucia McBeth of Kress; and sister-in-law, Trudy McBeth of Lubbock.

Funeral services in honor of LuAnn will be held at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, July 23, 2024, at First Methodist Church of Hale Center with Brother Rob Lindley officiating.  Interment will follow at Hale Center Cemetery under the care of Ramage Funeral Directors.  The family will receive friends at Ramage Funeral Directors in Hale Center from 5:00 to 6:30 p.m., Monday, July 22, 2024.
