Maria Rosario Munoz Amaya, 63, of Ft. Worth, died Friday, September 13, 2013, in Plainview. Graveside services were 1:00 P.M., Monday, September 16, 2013, at Roselawn Memorial Park in Denton. Local arrangements were by Ramage Funeral Directors.

Mrs. Amaya was born May 6, 1950 in Durango, Mexico. She married Enrique Amaya on November 8, 1969, in Olton.

She was preceded in death by her father, Manuel Munoz, a son, Alvino Amaya, and a sister, Acacia Avilez.

Survivors include her mother, Matilde Munoz of Olton, her husband, Enrique Amaya of Ft. Worth, three sons, Albert Amaya, Feliciano Amaya, and Herminio Amaya, all of Ft. Worth, one daughter, Virginia Amaya of Ft. Worth, five brothers, Manuel Munoz of Sanger, Robert Munoz of Ft. Worth, Javier Munoz of Olton, Armando Munoz of Olton, and George Munoz of El Paso, and three sisters, Yolanda Velasquez, Maria Corona, and Amparo Garcia, all of Denton. She was blessed with numerous grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
