Maria "Mary" Bueno, 71, of Olton, died Monday, February 27, 2017, in Lubbock. Rosary will be said at 7:30 P.M., Wednesday, March 1, 2017, at St. Peter's Catholic Church in Olton. Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 A.M., Thursday, March 2, 2017, at St. Peter's Catholic Church with Fr. John Smith officiating. Interment will follow at Olton Cemetery under the direction of Ramage Funeral Directors.

Mary was born May 17, 1945, in Laredo, Texas, to Jose and Paula (Flores) Guerrero. She married Jesus Felipe Bueno on January 4, 1964, in Plainview. Moving to Olton in 1970, Mary was a member of St. Peter's Catholic Church. She retired in 2011 as the supervisor of housekeeping for Runningwater Draw Care Center. Mary loved selling Avon and caring for anyone who needed some extra attention. Always smiling and laughing, she also enjoyed singing.

Mary was preceded in death by her parents, a son, Jose Martin Bueno in 2015, and a brother, Manuel Guerrero.

Survivors include her husband, Jesus Felipe Bueno of Olton; two sons, Juan Fidencio Bueno of Waco and Jesus Felipe Bueno, Jr. of Olton; six daughters, Maria Christina Saldivar of Olton, San Juanita Del Jesus Chavira of Greeley, CO, Maria Guadalupe Manuela Reyes of Plainview, Nora Lou Bueno of Plainview, Monica Lee Cruz of Fayetteville, N.C., and Santa Maria Bueno of Olton; five brothers, Jose Antonio Guerrero of Plainview, Juan Guerrero of Hereford, Chano Guerrero of Hereford, Ray Guerrero of Hereford, and Angel Guerrero of South Carolina; and three sisters, Guadalupe DeLuna of Umbarger, Lali Castillo of Amarillo, and Sylvia Mungia of Oklahoma. She was blessed with 40 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren.
