Maria G. Guerrero, 87, of Olton, died Monday, May 9, 2016, in Olton. No services are scheduled at this time. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Ramage Funeral Directors of Olton.

Born December 17, 1928, in Laredo, Texas, to Silvestre and Herlinda (Zapata) Garcia, Maria was a lifetime area resident. She married Indelecio Guerrero on July 30, 1952 and he preceded her in death in 2011. Maria was an excellent interior designer and kept an immaculate home. She enjoyed reading and spending time with family.

She was also preceded in death by two daughters, Nelda Gauna in 2012 and Noemi Ramirez in 2015.

Survivors include four sons: Jaime Guerrero of Houston, Jorge Guerrero of Roswell, Silvestre Guerrero of Arlington, and Indelicio Guerrero, Jr. of Plainview, three daughters: Norma Davie of Roswell, Nora Rodriguez of Lubbock, and Herlinda Guerrero of Arlington. She was blessed with 17 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.
