Maria "Cuca" Roque, 48, of Olton, died Sunday, August 11, 2013, in Olton. Rosary will be said at 7:00 P.M., Tuesday, August 13, at St. Peter's Catholic Church in Olton. Mass will be held at 2:00 P.M., Wednesday, August 14, 2013, at St. Peter's Catholic Church with Father John Smith officiating. Interment will follow at Olton Cemetery under the direction of Ramage Funeral Directors.

Maria was born May 7, 1965, in Juarez, Mexico to Nazario and Rebeca Herrera Roque. She moved to Olton in 1982 from Dimmitt and was a member of St. Peter's Catholic Church. She thoroughly enjoyed life to the fullest. Lovingly known to all as "Cuca", she was an extremely hard worker and very humble. She enjoyed going to the lake, spending time with family, especially her grandchildren, and traveling.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a grandson, Eli Roque in 2011.

Survivors include her spouse, Adrian Soliz of Olton, three sons, Heric Roque of Olton, Jesse Roque of Lubbock, and Marcos Morales of Olton, two brothers, Steve Roque of Hale Center and Jose Roque of Olton, and two sisters, Maria R. Rodriguez of Plainview and Lorenza Delarosa of Olton. She was blessed with five grandchildren.
