Mary Lou Almanza, 59, of Olton, died Friday, March 18, 2016, in Olton. Rosary will be said at 7:00 P.M., Sunday, March 20, at St. Peter's Catholic Church in Olton. Mass will be celebrated at 2:00 P.M., Monday, March 21, at St. Peter's Catholic Church with Fr. John Smith as celebrant. Interment will follow at Olton Cemetery under the direction of Ramage Funeral Directors. Viewing will be held at St. Peter's Catholic Church beginning Sunday, March 20, at 4:00 P.M.

Mary Lou was born April 26, 1956, in Earth, Texas, to Valentine and Felipa Garcia. She was a lifetime area resident and member of St. Peter's Catholic Church. Married to Eliseo Almanza, he preceded her in death in 1989. Mary Lou was a hard worker, good mother, and loving grandma. She was also preceded in death by a daughter, Mary Lou Almanza, in 2015.

Survivors include her parents, Valentine and Felipa Garcia of Olton, a son, Eliseo Almanza of Olton, three daughters, Monica Madrigal, April DeLaCruz, and Sara Campos, all of Olton, six brothers, David Garcia of Olton, Valentine Garcia, Jr. of Washington, Ricky Garcia of Lamesa, Gilbert Garcia of Amarillo, Danny Garcia of Lubbock, and Marcelino Garcia of Littlefield, and a sister, Marilynn Martinez of Austin. She was blessed with 15 grandchildren.
