Mary Lou Almanza, 37, of Olton, died Tuesday, April 14, 2015, in Lubbock. Services will be held at 2:00 P.M., Saturday, April 18, 2015, at Trinity Baptist Church in Olton with Rev. Arturo DeLaCruz officiating. Interment will follow at Olton Cemetery under the direction of Ramage Funeral Directors. Visitation will be held at Trinity Baptist Church on Thursday and Friday.

Mary Lou was born March 21, 1978, in Brownsville, Texas, to Eliseo and Mary Lou (Garcia) Almanza. She moved to Olton two years ago from Littlefield and was a member of Trinity Baptist Church. Mary Lou loved spending time with her family and was a wonderful mother. She was a fighter, a best friend, and an angel. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her.

She was preceded in death by her father, Eliseo Almanza in 1989 and her paternal grandparents.

Survivors include her mother, Mary Lou Almanza of Olton, two sons, Eliseo and Benny Cordao of Littlefield, her daughter, Aracely Cordao of Littlefield, two brothers, Roberto Almanza of Brownsville and Eliseo Almanza of Lubbock, three sisters, Monica Madrigal, April Almanza, and Sara Campos, all of Olton, and her maternal grandparents, Valentine and Felipa Garcia of Olton. She was blessed with numerous nieces and nephews.
