Obituary
Mary Marcelle Loveless, 95, of Olton, died Sunday, December 11, 2016, in Olton. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 P.M., Thursday, December 15, 2016, at Olton Cemetery with Brother David Azam officiating and under the care of Ramage Funeral Directors. The family will receive friends at Ramage Funeral Directors in Olton from 5:00 to 7:00 P.M., Wednesday, December 14.
Mary Marcelle was born April 5, 1921, in Hopkins County, Texas, to Harvey and Susana Anderson. On February 13, 1938, in Clovis, she married Charles A. Loveless. She moved to Olton in 1946 and was a member of the First Baptist Church. Marcelle was the Queen Mother of the Red Hat Society and organized the first Bunko Club at Olton and Springlake. She also was a former dispatcher for the Olton Volunteer Ambulance Association.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles A. Loveless, in 1993, two sons, Charles E. Loveless in 2001 and Samuel L. Loveless in 1957, and three brothers.
Survivors include her daughter, Sandie Walden of Olton, her son, Glenn Loveless of Metamora, Michigan, and a brother, Aubrey Anderson of Lubbock. She was blessed with six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to the Olton Volunteer Ambulance Association P.O. Box 1087 Olton, TX 79064.
