Mary Nell Wheeler, 87, of Olton, died Friday, June 10, 2016, in Olton. Services will be 11:00 A.M., Monday, June 13, 2016, at the First United Methodist Church in Olton with Brother Tom Carter officiating. Interment will follow at Olton Cemetery under the direction of Ramage Funeral Directors. The family will receive friends at Ramage Funeral Directors in Olton from 5:00 to 7:00 P.M., Sunday, June 12, 2016.

Mary Nell Wheeler was born January 26, 1929, to James Nolan and Otha Susan (Hill) Dudley. She married T.B. Wheeler on February 18, 1948, in Hart, TX. She was a lifetime Olton resident and member of the First United Methodist Church. Mary enjoyed woodworking, sewing, and fishing. She especially loved family gatherings and playing games.

She was preceded in death by her husband, T.B. Wheeler, in 1985, a son, Kerry Don Wheeler and a daughter, Laura Sue Wheeler, a grandson, Lee Wayne Wheeler, three brothers, and a sister.

Survivors include two sons, Ted Wheeler and his wife, Julia of Cross Plains and Alan Wheeler and his wife, Rashell of Lockney, a brother, Denny Dudley of Seagraves, a sister, Linda Mainwaring and her husband, Don of Oregon, and a sister-in-law, Wanda Dudley of Olton. She was blessed with six grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren.
