Maxine Andrew, 87, passed away Tuesday, March 24, 2009, in Lubbock. Services will be 2:00 PM, Saturday, March 28, 2009, at the First Baptist Church in Olton with Dr. Travis Hart and Brother Patrick Hamilton officiating. Interment will be at 5:30 PM, Saturday, March 28 at Memory Gardens in Pampa, TX under the direction of Ramage Funeral Directors.

Maxine was born June 30, 1921 in Wellington, Texas. She married Harold McCleery and they lived in Pampa. She was preceded in death by her husband in 1973. On April 15, 1978, she married Bud Andrew. She was a member of First Baptist Church and involved in the Lydia Sunday School class. Maxine was a former volunteer for the Olton Ambulance Association. She also thoroughly enjoyed her vegetable garden every year and loved sharing her vegetables with others.

Maxine is survived by her husband, Bud, of Olton, two sons, Kenneth McCleery of Mishawaka, IN, and Neil Andrew of Newark, DE; seven grandchildren, Kelly McCleery, Kris McCleery, Shawn Andrew, Brent Andrew, Mark Boone, Michelle Coffman, and Melanie Word. She also was blessed with thirteen great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her daughter, Juanelle Andrew Boone in 1993, her brother, Travis Patterson, and her sister, Evelyn Osborne.
