Monica Villanueva Sandoval, 39, of Olton, died Sunday, April 14, 2013, in Lubbock. Rosary will be said at 7:00 P.M., Tuesday, April 16, 2013, at St. Peter Catholic Church in Olton. Mass will be celebrated at 2:00 P.M., Wednesday, April 17, 2013, at St. Peter Catholic Church with Fr. John Smith officiating. Interment will follow at Olton Cemetery under the direction of Ramage Funeral Directors.
Monica was born December 1, 1973 in Petersburg, Texas to Stephan and Amparo Villanueva. She married Bruno Sandoval on January 14, 2008 in Lubbock. In 2010, she moved to Olton and was a member of St. Peter Catholic Church. Monica was a loving mother and caring wife. She loved to read, loved photography, arts and crafts, and enjoyed going antiquing.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Casey Villanueva and a sister, Amparo "Tito" Davila.
Survivors include her parents, Stephan and Amparo Villanueva of Dimmitt, her husband, Bruno Sandoval of Olton, two sons, Jas Villanueva and Remy Sandoval, both of Olton, a daughter, Isla Sandoval of Olton, and two brothers, Stephan Villanueva of North Carolina and Stacey Villanueva of Lubbock.
A love fund has been set up at Security State Bank in Olton to assist the family with expenses.
