Nicky Green, 55, of Olton, died Thursday, January 6, 2011 in Olton. Services will be 2:00 P.M., Monday, January 10, 2011 at Main Street Church of Christ in Olton with Brad Wangerin and Trey Shirley officiating. Interment will follow at Olton Cemetery under the direction of Ramage Funeral Directors.

Nicky was born June 6, 1955 in Lubbock to Willie Gene and Jean Green. He graduated from Olton High School in 1973. On October 26, 1990, he married the love of his life, Rhonda Rose in Olton. He was the Maintenance Supervisor for Olton I.S.D. for eleven years. A faithful member of the Main Street Church of Christ, he served as youth director and bible class teacher. He was a public servant at heart, was a member of the Olton Lions Club and the Nifty Fifties Car Club. Nicky was a man of faith, grace, and unconditional love.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Willie Gene Green in 2008 and Jean Green in 2009.

Survivors include his wife, Rhonda of Olton, three sons, Ronnie Green and his wife, Liz of Canyon, Kody Green and his wife Myndi of Muleshoe, and Justin Bunce of Olton; three daughters, Lacey Blount and her husband, Kevin of Olton, Kasey Guerrero and her husband, Ruben of Austin, and Meggan Langford of Olton; and one sister, Tammy Shirley and her husband, John of Snyder. He was blessed with five grandchildren, Hayleigh and Hannah Green, Kade and Kyle Blount, and Brody Langford.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Sunday, January 9, 2011 from 5:00 to 8:00 P.M.
