Nina Williams, 51, of Olton, died Wednesday, June 13, 2012, in Lubbock. Services will be held at 2:00 P.M., Monday, June 18, 2012 at Main Street Church of Christ in Olton with Mr. Johnnie Perkins and Mr. Brad Wangerin officiating. Interment will follow at Olton Cemetery under the direction of Ramage Funeral Directors.
Nina was born February 7, 1961 in Littlefield to James and Madaline Randol Spurlin. She was a lifetime Olton resident and on July 2, 1981, she married Alan Williams. She worked at Olton State Bank, Security State Bank, and currently was the parts clerk at Ray Lee Equipment. Nina genuinely had a servant's heart. She was an EMT with the Olton Volunteer Ambulance Association for 23 years and an Olton I.S.D. school board member for six years. She served as secretary for the Olton Baseball Association for many years and was one of the founders of the ABC Club at H.P. Webb Elementary. She was Olton's Woman of the Year in 1995. Nina was a loving wife, mother, and friend and will be missed by all.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Survivors include her husband, Alan Williams of Olton, her son, Eric Williams of Olton, one brother, Randy Spurlin of Hart and one sister, Vickie Watts of Albuquerque.
