Noemi Ramirez, 62, of Olton, died Wednesday, April 22, 2015, in Lubbock. Memorial services will be held at 10:00 A.M., Saturday, April 25, 2015, at the First Baptist Church in Olton with Brother David Azam officiating. Cremation arrangements are by Ramage Funeral Directors.

Noemi was born February 3, 1953, in Laredo, Texas, to Indalecio and Maria (Garcia) Guerrero. She married Ruben Ramirez on September 10, 1976, in Littlefield and moved to Olton in 1988. Noemi worked at the Sandhills Village Assisted Living for over 13 years. She loved to read and was loved by everyone who knew her. A loving mother and Nana to her grandchildren, Noemi will be greatly missed.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ruben Ramirez in 2008, her father, Indalecio, in 2011, and a sister, Nelda Gauna in 2012.

Survivors include her mother, Maria Guerrero of Olton, five sons, Ruben Ramirez, Jr. of Austin, Gaspar Ramirez of Olton, Santiago Cervantez and Marcellino Cervantez, both of Hereford, Pedro Cervantez, Jr. of Dumas, two daughters, Laura Ramirez of Anthony, N.M., and Melissa LaDuke of Olton, four brothers, Silvester Guerrero of Irving, Jorge Guerrero of Roswell, Jaime Guerrero of Pasadena, TX, and Lecio Guerrero, Jr. of Plainview, and three sisters, Nora Rodriguez of Lubbock, Norma Davie of Roswell, and Linda Guerrero of Irving. She was blessed with 15 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
