Odessa Welch Kidd, 88, of Olton, passed away November 5, 2007 in Olton. Services will be Thursday, November 8, 2007 at Main Street Church of Christ with Pastor Ronnie Kidd officiating. Burial will follow in Olton Cemetery.

Mrs. Kidd was born September 3, 1919 in Coalgate, Oklahoma. She married George Kidd October 29, 1938 in Clovis, N.M. She had been an Olton resident since 1938 and a member of Main Street Church of Christ.

She is survived by a son, Ronnie Gene and his wife, Kathryn Jane Kidd of Odessa, TX, a daughter, Kathie Elaine and her husband, Lane Womack of Los Alamos, N.M., two sisters, Audie Shaffer of Jefferson City, MO, and Maxine Welch of Cedar Hills, N.M., seven grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren.
