Obituary
Oleta Hatley, 94, of Lubbock and formerly of Olton, died Sunday, February 2, 2014, in Lubbock. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 A.M., Tuesday, February 4, at Olton Cemetery with Mr. Brad Wangerin officiating and under direction of Ramage Funeral Directors.
Oleta was born September 7, 1919, in Chalk, Texas to Frank E. and Ida A. Perry Findley. She was a longtime Olton resident and moved to Lubbock in the 1960's. She was married to Elvis Louis Hatley and he preceded her in death in 1972. She was also preceded in death by her son, Elvis Louis "Butch" Hatley, Jr. in 1968.
Survivors include her daughter, Fancy Koonsman of Idalou, one grandson, Kane Koonsman and his wife, Cathy of Lorenzo, and two great-grandsons, Jim and Kash Koonsman, both of Idalou.
Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association P.O. Box 841125 Dallas, TX 75284-1125.
