Olivia S. Garza, 89, of Olton, died Sunday, January 10, 2021, in Olton.  Graveside services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, January 13, 2021, at Olton Cemetery, with Fr. Jacob Powell officiating and under the care of Ramage Funeral Directors.  Visitation will be held from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m., Tuesday, January 12, 2021, and from 10:00 to 12:30 p.m., Wednesday, January 13, 2021, at Ramage Funeral Directors in Olton.

Olivia was born in Runge, Texas, on November 2, 1931, to Timoteo and Jesusa (Pereida) Salas.  Moving to Olton in 1952, Olivia was a member of St. Peter's Catholic Church.  She married Alfredo Garza, on October 9, 1954, in Littlefield, and they were married over 65 years.  Olivia was a homemaker and loved to cook and take care of her family.  She enjoyed playing games and was very competitive no matter who she was playing.  Her children and grandchildren were her pride and joy and she will be dearly missed.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Alfredo Garza, in 2020, three brothers, and two sisters.

She is survived by her six sons, John Garza of Brownfield, Rudy Urrea of San Antonio, Joe Garza of San Antonio, Jesse Garza of Lubbock, Justin Garza of Dallas and Jimmy Garza of Austin, one daughter, Patsy Sandoval of McKinney, a brother, Roy Salas of Olton and a sister, Molly Fonseca of Olton.  She was blessed with 20 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren.
