Ozia Brothers, 98, of Olton died Monday, October 26, 2009 in Littlefield. Services will be at 2:00 PM, Thursday, October 29,2009 at the First Baptist Church in Olton with Kevin Dotson, grandson, and Harold Henson officiating. Interment will follow at Olton Cemetery under the direction of Ramage Funeral Directors.

Mrs. Brothers was born August 12, 1911 in Oden, Arkansas to Charles David Plum and Nellie Velesta Givens. She married J.I. Brothers on September 27, 1933 in Norman, Oklahoma. She moved to Olton in 1954 and was a member of the First Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband in 1988, a son, Ted Brothers, and three sisters.

Survivors include two sons, Charles Brothers and his wife, DeLoyce of Clovis, and Jerry Brothers and his wife, Jerry of Hobbs, a daughter, Linda Hughes and her husband, Phil of Olton, and a sister, Viola Radar of Modesto, CA. She was also blessed with 16 grandchildren, 36 great grandchildren, 15 great great grandchildren, several nieces, and a nephew.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5:00 to 7:00 PM, Wednesday, October 28, 2009.
