Pablo Lopez Rangel, 74, of Earth, died Thursday, August 18, 2022, in Lubbock, Texas.  Services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Monday, August 22, 2022, at Iglesia Apostolica de la Fe en Cristo Jesus Church, in Earth, with Pastor Manuel Martinez officiating.  Visitation will begin at 4:00 p.m., Sunday, August 21, 2022, at Iglesia Apostolica de la Fe en Cristo Jesus Church, in Earth.

Pablo was born June 18, 1948, in Torreon, Coahuila, Mexico.  Moving to Earth in the early 1980's from Corpus Christi, Texas, Pablo was a mechanic.  In 1992, he married Alicia Vasquez, in Clovis, New Mexico.  Pablo enjoyed working on cars and always made sure to keep everybody going.  A strong family man, Pablo was a good husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather.

Pablo was preceded in death by his first wife, Consuelo Rangel and a son, Pablo Rangel, Jr.

Survivors include his wife, Alicia Rangel of Earth, sons, Jose Rangel of Earth and Frank Rangel of Corpus Christi, daughters, Rebecca Parrish of Lubbock and Isabel Garcia of Earth, a brother, Alberto Rangel of San Antonio and two sisters, Antonia Rangel and Marcelina Rangel, both of Mexico.  He was blessed with nine grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
