Patricia Ann Combest, 86, a long time resident of Olton, passed away Sunday, January 12, 2020, after a long illness.  A memorial graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, September 15, 2021, at Olton Cemetery, with Mr. Mario Chavez officiating.

She was a dedicated, compassionate nurse who cared for patients in Olton and Hale Center hospitals for over 35 years. She enjoyed traveling and sightseeing and loved to dance. She will be remembered by her family as a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. As her final commitment to the medical profession, she requested her body be donated to the Texas Tech Medical Center.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Glenn "Bun" Combest and a grandson, Dustin Crowder.

She is survived by her three sons, Michael Crowder and wife Shirley of San Angelo, Marty Crowder and wife Sylvia of Grand Praire, and Mickey and wife Jan of Derby, Kansas, nine grandchildren, and 17 great grandchildren.
