Pauline E. Vega, 84, of Plainview and formerly of Hale Center, died Thursday, June 6, 2019, in Plainview.  Services will be held at 11:00 AM, Monday, June 10, 2019, at Iglesio Bautista del Carpintero in Hale Center with Pastor Victor Hernandez officiating.  Interment will follow at Hale Center Cemetery under the direction of Ramage Funeral Directors.

Pauline was born September 30, 1934, in Rosebud, Texas, to Ascencion and Paula (Rangel) Espinosa.  Married to Rosendo Vega, Pauline moved to Plainview in 2010 from Hale Center.  A homemaker, Pauline enjoyed quilting and gardening.  She was an excellent cook and loved spending time with her family.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her first husband, Yesmel Martinez Navarro in 1991, a daughter, Paula E. Navarro, five brothers, two sisters, and three grandsons.

Those left to cherish her memory include her husband, Rosendo Vega of Plainview, three sons, Guadalupe E. Navarro and his wife Diane of Lubbock, Jesse Martinez of Ft. Worth, and Paul Navarro of Plainview, and three daughters, Maria Elena Navarro of Plainview, Dolores Navarro of San Antonio, and Margarita Gonzalez and her husband Guadalupe of Plainview.  She was blessed with 16 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren, and four great-great-grandchildren.
