Pedro Flores Garcia, Jr., 88, of Halfway, passed away Friday, December 7, 2018, surrounded by his family at his beloved home.  Services will be held at 2:00 PM, Monday, December 10, 2018, at the First Baptist Church in Olton with Pastor Arturo DeLaCruz officiating.  Interment will follow at Hale Center Cemetery in Hale Center under the direction of Ramage Funeral Directors.

Born September 19, 1930, in Encinal, Texas, Pedro and his family moved to West Texas from Cotulla, Texas. He worked as a farmer around the Olton and Hale Center areas.  Pedro married Henobeba Nanez and she preceded him in death.  He married Maria Gomez Estrada in December of 1995.

Pedro is survived by his wife, Maria Garcia of Halfway, ten children, Genoveva, Delia, Amelia, Jesus, George, Pedro III, Laura, Hugo, Antonio, and Veronica, a sister, four half-brothers, and three half-sisters.  He was blessed with 41 grandchildren and 48 great-grandchildren.
