Pedro "Pete" Sanchez, 96, of Olton, died Sunday, July 25, 2010 in Olton. Rosary will be said at 7:00 P.M., Tuesday, July 27, 2010 at St. Peter's Catholic Church in Olton. Mass will be 2:00 P.M., Wednesday, July 28, 2010 at St. Peter's Catholic Church with Fr. John Smith officiating. Interment will follow at Olton Cemetery under the direction of Ramage Funeral Directors.

Mr. Sanchez was born October 19, 1913 in Dr. Arroyo, Mexico. He married Josefa Lopez October 12, 1935 in Pawnee, Texas. Pedro moved to Olton in 1959 from Karnes City, Texas. He was a member of St. Peter's Catholic Church and a farmer.

Survivors include his wife, Josefa Sanchez of Olton, three sons, Sabino Sanchez, Frank Sanchez, and Clyde Sanchez all of Garland, three daughters, Yolanda Minjarez of Olton, Mary Jane Garza of Earth, and Rosa Rodriguez of Seagraves. He was blessed with 26 grandchildren, 37 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.
