Obituary
Peggy Marie LaFrance Poteet, 87, of Olton, died Wednesday, May 26, 2010 in Olton. Graveside services will be 11:00 A.M., Friday, May 28, 2010 at Olton Cemetery with Patrick Hamilton officiating and under the direction of Ramage Funeral Directors.
Peggy was born October 28, 1922 in Vera, Texas to O.B. and Annie Reeves LaFrance. She moved to Olton in 1937 and was a member of Main Street Church of Christ. She married Clovis Poteet November 9, 1941 in Olton. Peggy was a beautician for over 47 years in Olton.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Clovis Poteet, in 1987 and a daughter, Pamela Jean.
Peggy is survived by her daughter, Cheryl P. Kidd and her husband, Don of Lubbock, two grandchildren, Brian Duncan and his wife, Donna of Lubbock, and Heather Webb and her husband, Cody of San Antonio. She was blessed with five great-grandchildren, Jordan and Jacob Duncan, and Phoebe, Duncan, and Whitney Webb.
