Raul DeLeon, 55, of Earth, died Sunday, June 4, 2017, in Earth. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M., Thursday, June 8, 2017, at IDP in Earth with Pastor Angie Castillo officiating. Interment will follow at Earth Memorial Cemetery under the direction of Ramage Funeral Directors of Olton.

Raul was born July 21, 1961, in Amherst, Texas, to Armando and Gregoria (Samarron) DeLeon. A lifetime Earth resident and a member of IDP (Temple of Adoration), Raul loved spending time with his family. He was a giver and loved caring for those in need. Known for his sense of humor and always joking around, Raul will be missed by all who knew him.

He was preceded in death by his father, Armando DeLeon, two sons, Eli DeLeon and Gabriel DeLeon, a grandson, and a nephew, Romy DeLeon.

Survivors include his mother, Gregoria DeLeon of Earth, three daughters, Amber DeLeon of Brownfield, Crystal Ontiveros of Ruidoso, and Cheyenne DeLeon of Hereford, six brothers, Armando DeLeon, Jr. of Amarillo, Danny DeLeon, Ruben DeLeon, and Anthony DeLeon, all of Lubbock, Gerardo DeLeon of Tulsa, and Israel DeLeon of Earth, and five sisters, Juanita Gonzales, Angie Castillo, and Diane Camarena, all of Earth, Yolando Davila of Lubbock, and Mandy Rincon of Beeville. He was blessed with nine grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
