Raymond Ramirez, Jr., 33, of Olton died Monday, October 5, 2009, in Lubbock. Services will be at 2:00 PM, Friday, October 9, 2009, at the First United Methodist Church in Olton with Brother Larry Holder officiating. Interment will follow in the Hart Cemetery in Hart, Texas under the direction of Ramage Funeral Directors.

Raymond Ramirez, Jr. was born July 30, 1976 in Plainview, Texas. He moved to Olton in 1996 from Hart. He married Erma Gonzales in Olton on March 10, 1999. Raymond attended the First United Methodist Church in Olton and was a truck driver. He was a loving father and will be greatly missed.

Survivors include his father Raymond Ramirez, Sr. of Hart, mother Janie LaDuke of Olton and her husband Roy, wife Erma Ramirez of Olton, four sons: Raymond, Jonathan, Matias, and Raymond, Jr. all of Olton, brother, Stephen Ramirez of Olton, and two sisters, Ermalinda Gonzalez of Hart, and Amylou Martinez of Amarillo, and ten nieces and nephews.
