Regina Holguin Sotelo, 68, of Hart, died Tuesday, July 23, 2024, in Amarillo, Texas.  Rosary will be said at 6:00 p.m., Sunday, July 28, 2024, at St. John Nepomucene Catholic Church in Hart, Texas. Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m., Monday, July 29, 2024, at St. John Nepomucene Catholic Church, with Fr. David Contreras officiating. Interment will follow at Hart Cemetery under the care of Ramage Funeral Directors.  Visitation will be held from 12:00 to 5:00 p.m., Sunday, July 28, 2024, at Ramage Funeral Directors, in Olton.

Regina was born August 8, 1955, in Praxedis G Guerrero, Chihuahua, Mexico, to Concepcion and Josefina (Sotelo) Holguin.  She moved to Hart in 1982 and was the custodian for Hart ISD for 17 years. A member of St. John Nepomucene Catholic Church, Regina enjoyed life and enjoyed to sitting on the porch watching the sunsets.  Visiting with friends and playing loteria were her favorite things to do. She enjoyed family gatherings with her siblings, children, and especially her grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Concepcion and Josefina Holguin, two brothers, Gerardo Holguin and Fernando Holguin, and a sister, Angelina Herrera.

Survivors include her son, Rumaldo Rodriguez and wife Teresa of Mexicali, Mexico, three daughters, Monica Velador and husband Eduardo of Juarez, Mexico, Aliana Rodriguez and husband Carlos Lara of Hart, and Amy Rodriguez and husband Feliciano Arras of Hart, two brothers, Alberto Holguin of El Paso and Eusebio Holguin of Pecos, and two sisters, Lucy Holguin of Phoenix and Josie Valenzuela of El Paso.  She was blessed with six grandchildren: Karely, Chapo, Pancho, Zoe, Cesar, and Alyson.
