Rey Reyna, 40, of Olton, died Sunday, August 24, 2025, in Lubbock, Texas. Rosary will be said at 6:00 p.m., Thursday, August 28, 2025, at St. Peter's Catholic Church in Olton. Mass will be celebrated at 2:00 p.m., Friday, August 29, at St. Peter's Catholic Church with Fr. Alex Ambrose officiating. Interment will follow at Olton Cemetery under the care of Ramage Funeral Directors. Visitation will be held from 1:00 to 5:00 p.m., Thursday, August 28, at Ramage Funeral Directors in Olton.
Rey was born December 10, 1984, in Plainview, Texas, to Esiquio and Julia (Oliva) Reyna. A farmer, following in his father's footsteps, Rey was known as a hardworking man who lived life to the fullest. Outgoing and full of energy, he was the life of the party, a jokester who brought joy and laughter wherever he went. He loved football and was a loyal Green Bay Packers fan. Above all, Rey was a devoted father, son, brother, and friend, and his handsome smile and big personality will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents.
Survivors include his parents, Esiquio and Julia Reyna of Olton; his spouse, Graciela Salzido of Levelland; two daughters, Delayne Reyna and husband Nehemiah Harvey of Lubbock, and Kamille Reyna of Nazareth; three sisters, Irma Simental and husband Ray of Burleson, Cristy Palacios and husband Cornelio of Lubbock, and Lauriana Gomez and husband Luis of Lubbock; and one grandchild, Nehemyra Jhene Harvey. He was also blessed with three nieces, five nephews, and countless friends.
