Ricardo Cuevas Longoria, 62, of Olton, died Wednesday, September 28, 2016, in Olton. Rosary will be said at 7:00 P.M., Friday, September 30, at St. Peter's Catholic Church in Olton. Mass will be celebrated at 2:00 P.M., Saturday, October 1 at St. Peter's Catholic Church with Fr. John Smith officiating. Interment will follow at Olton Cemetery under the direction of Ramage Funeral Directors of Olton.

Ricardo was born April 3, 1954, in Rio Grande, Zacatecas, Mexico, to Manuel and Petra Longoria Cuevas. He married Jacinta Perez in 1973 and moved to Olton in 1988. A member of St. Peter's Catholic Church, Ricardo was a talented musician who was able to play many instruments. Never afraid to let you know what he thought, he loved playing baseball with his grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Jacinta, in 2005, his parents, a brother, and two children.

Survivors include his son, Jose Cuevas and his wife, Cony of Mexico, three daughters, Flor Cano, Maria Capen, and Lucy Green and her husband, Nathan, all of Olton, a brother, Matias Cuevas of Mexico, and two sisters, Mariana Cuevas and Esther Cuevas, both of Mexico. He was blessed with 13 grandchildren.
