Rick Perez, 56, of Olton, died Sunday, March 13, 2022, in Lubbock, Texas.  Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, March 18, 2022, at the First United Methodist Church in Olton, with Pastor Valentine Martinez officiating.  Interment will follow at Olton Cemetery under the direction of Ramage Funeral Directors.  A visitation will be held at Living Faith Christian Fellowship church, in Olton, from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., Thursday, October 17, 2022.

Rick was born March 31, 1965, in Plainview, Texas, to Domingo and Maria (Zamudio) Perez.  He moved to Olton in 1991 from Earth and was a farmer.  On June 1, 1996, Rick married the love of his life, Yolanda Martinez, and they were married over 25 years.  A faithful Christian man, Rick was always listening to Christian music.  He loved watching rodeos and the Washington Redskins.  Most of all, Rick loved his wife, his children, and spending time with his family.

He was preceded in death by his father, Domingo Perez, in 1996.

Rick is survived by his wife, Yolanda Perez of Olton, his mother, Maria Perez of Olton, four sons, Anthony Aaron Perez of Bryan, Eric Rene Perez of Denver, Javier Lorenzo Perez of Amarillo, and Victor Fernando Perez of Lubbock, one daughter, Lori Yvette Flores and her husband Raymond of Lubbock, four brothers, Robert Perez of Plainview, Richard Perez and his wife Janie of Hale Center, Rudy Perez of Dallas, and Ralph Perez and his wife Nellie of Kress, and one sister, Gloria Hernandez of Olton. He was blessed with four grandchildren.
