Ricky L. Reese, 62, of Hart Camp, died Wednesday, August 16, 2023, at his home, near Hart Camp, Texas. Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., Wednesday, August 23, 2023, at Ramage Funeral Directors in Olton.

Ricky was born July 28, 1961, in Lubbock, Texas, to Jerry and Joyce (Nelson) Reese.  He married Norma Rivera on April 19, 1980 and they were married over 43 years.  Ricky enjoyed everything outdoors and he loved being a farmer, especially driving the tractor. Tinkering on antique tractors, growing a huge garden every year, hunting, and fishing were things Ricky enjoyed doing. His world was his family and he always wanted them to be together.  He was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, and friend.

Ricky was preceded in death by his father, Jerry Reese, in 2011.

Survivors include his wife, Norma Reese of Hart Camp, his mother, Joyce Reese of Portland, Texas, two sons, Ricki Reese and husband Randy of Lubbock and Scott Reese and wife Erin of Olton, two daughters, Jennifer Samaron and husband Mark of Earth and April Battey and husband Carson of Spade, two brothers, Jacky Lynn Reese of Spade and Shannon Lynn Reese of O'Donnell, and two sisters, Debra Hendrix of Spade and Brandi Voyles of Portland, Texas. He was blessed with eight grandchildren: Tye, Joshua, Emma Lynn, Macie, Kaitlyn, Beau Casey, Avery, and Carter.
