Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, May 30, 2026, at St. John Nepomucene Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Hart Cemetery under the care of Ramage Funeral Directors. Tony was born June 9, 1967, in Valle De Zaragoza, Chihuahua, Mexico, to David and Maria (Marquez) Rodriguez. Raised among a large family of twelve children, he carried the values of hard work, loyalty, and family throughout his life. Nearly forty years ago, he made Hart, Texas, his home.
In 1993, he married Eloisa Chavez, and together they built a life centered family and hard work spanning thirty-three years of marriage. Tony worked as a farmer and was known as a tireless worker who took pride in providing for his family. He loved the cowboy way of life and could fix nearly anything with an engine or a stubborn bolt. A natural mechanic and gifted problem solver, he enjoyed puzzles, working with his hands, fishing, and hunting.
Tony had a quick wit and playful spirit. He loved a good joke, enjoyed teasing those around him, and never missed an opportunity to laugh. He was wise, intelligent, and deeply valued education, often reminding his children that the greatest inheritance he could leave them was their education. He also remained fiercely loyal to Chevrolet trucks, leaving little room in his heart for Ford.
He was preceded in death by his father, David Rodriguez, and one brother, Alfonso Rodriguez.
Survivors include his wife, Eloisa Rodriguez of Hart; his mother, Maria Rodriguez of Santa Fe; two sons, Antonio Rodriguez of Denver and Rito Rodriguez of Hart; two daughters, Adriana Rodriguez of Hart and Valeria Rodriguez of Denver; five brothers; and six sisters.
