Robert "Bob" McCarver, 93, of Hale Center, died Thursday, April 22, 2021, in Hale Center.  Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, April 24, 2021, at Hale Center Cemetery, with Pastor Terry Wright officiating and under the direction of Ramage Funeral Directors. Viewing will be held from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m., Friday, April 23, and from 9:00 to 10:00 a.m., Saturday, April 24, 2021, at Ramage Funeral Directors in Hale Center.

Robert F. McCarver was born September 4, 1927, in Wellington, Texas, to Burt and Myrtle McCarver.  Robert served in the United States Navy from 1945 to 1947. A lifetime Hale Center resident, Bob was a member of the Church of Christ.  On February 18, 1956, Bob married Jean Pigg in Hale Center.  He worked for many years at the Hale Center Grain Coop before retiring from ADM in Plainview.  A long-time member of the Hale Center Volunteer Fire Department, Bob was also a member of Woodmen of the World.  He loved hunting, fishing, and most of all, he loved his family.

Bob is preceded in death by his parents and five sisters.

Survivors include his wife, Jean McCarver of Hale Center, two sons, Kevin McCarver and his wife Kim of Midland and Kelly McCarver and his wife Shelly of Lubbock.  He was blessed with six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
