Robert Mojica, 70, of Cotton Center, died Tuesday, July 20, 2021, in Lubbock.  Rosary will be said at 6:00 p.m., Thursday, July 22, 2021, at St. Peter's Catholic Church, in Olton.  Mass will be celebrated at 2:00 p.m., Friday, July 23, 2021, at St. Peter's Catholic Church with Fr. Jeremy Trull officiating.  Interment will follow at Olton Cemetery under the direction of Ramage Funeral Directors.  Visitation will be held from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m., Thursday, July 22, at Ramage Funeral Directors in Olton.

Robert was born November 10, 1950, in Plainview, Texas, to Juan and Silbina (Lopez) Mojica  He graduated from Cotton Center High School in 1970.  In 1971, Robert joined the United States Air Force and was stationed at Sheppard Air Force Base.  He earned the rank of Sergeant before his retirement in June of 1976.  A member of St. Peter's Catholic Church in Olton, Robert enjoyed watching television, especially the news and game shows.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Juan and Silbina Mojica, a brother, Fred Mojica, and a sister, Anita Mojica.

Survivors include three brothers, Joe Mojica of Cotton Center, Alfred Mojica of Cotton Center, and Richard Mojica of Olton, and three sisters, Juanita Flores of Arkansas, Louisa Gomez of Olton, and Silvia Sauceda of Olton.
