Roberto S. Castillo, 74, of Haltom City, died Wednesday, September 20, 2023, in Plano, Texas. Rosary will be said at 6:00 p.m., Sunday, September 24, 2023, at St. Theresa's Catholic Church in Hale Center. Mass will be celebrated at 2:00 p.m., Monday, September 25, 2023, at St. Theresa's Catholic Church with Fr. Reymundo Manriquez officiating.  Interment will follow at Hale Center Cemetery under the direction of Ramage Funeral Directors.  Visitation will be held from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m., Sunday, September 24, 2023, at Ramage Funeral Directors in Hale Center.

Roberto was born June 3, 1949, in Rocksprings, Texas, to Rafael and Dominga (Sanchez) Castillo.  Graduating from Hale Center High School in 1967, Roberto married the love of his life, Georgia Garcia, on June 27, 1970. He served in the United States Army for 21 years until he retired in 1989.  After retiring from the military, Roberto worked as the office manager for Mid Cities Erectors for 21 years.

Roberto loved to eat authentic Mexican food and listen to Tejano music.  He also enjoyed watching movies and was an avid Trinity Trojan fan. Most of all, Roberto loved his family and spoiling his grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Rafael and Dominga Castillo, his wife, Georgia Castillo in 2017, two sisters, Sulema Alonzo and Margarita Perez, and a brother, Joe Castillo.

Survivors include his sons, Rocky Castillo and Joe Castillo, both of Haltom City, his daughter, Roberta Castillo of Roanoke, Texas, two brothers, Richard Castillo and Ralph Castillo, both of Plainview, and two sisters, Susana Guebara of Amarillo and Gracie Florencio of Plainview.  He was blessed with three grandchildren, Andrea, Rocky Isaiah, and Elias.
