Rosendo Garcia Carrasco, 74, of Lubbock, formerly of Olton, passed away on Tuesday, May 12, 2020, in Lubbock, surrounded by his family.

Born in Beeville, Texas, on September 4, 1945, Rosendo was born to Jose and Estella (Garcia) Carrasco.  Rosendo married Maria Arroyos in 1974, in Olton, Texas.  He was a very loving and caring person, husband, father, and grandfather.  He loved to dance and make people laugh.  He had an infectious smile.  Rosendo enjoyed watching the Dallas Cowboys, loved listening to his grandson, Devin Carrasco, play his guitar, and loved all his other grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Rosendo was preceded in death by his parents, his sons, Rosendo Carrasco, Jr. and Joe Henry Carrasco and two brothers.

He is survived by his wife, Maria Carrasco and numerous children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
